Product Overview
The airborne broadband wireless MESH MANET product is our newly launched miniaturized, high-throughput wireless broadband MESH radio. Developed based on COFDM and multi-hop MESH self-organizing networking technologies, it enables flexible networking across different device form factors and provides a fast, agile solution for diverse services in complex environments (e.g., HD video, voice intercom, and IP data transmission). With an advanced MESH design concept, no central gateway is required—any unit can form a network. If any node in the network goes offline, other nodes within effective antenna coverage continue communications to maintain network continuity. In practical deployments, a ring topology can be used without concerns about ring congestion. As a wireless extension for fixed or vehicle-mounted radios in multi-hop MANET deployments, it can be rapidly pushed into incident scenes, dense crowds, or inside buildings, significantly improving deep-coverage communications. It delivers wireless broadband digital communications for mission-critical operations such as emergency rescue, counter-terrorism and riot control, covert reconnaissance, special operations, disaster relief, and routine patrol. Typical ranges are 5 km+ in open ground environments, 10 km+ for air-to-ground links, and 300–1000 m in obstructed scenarios (depending on the obstruction conditions).

The DJI UAV broadband MANET relay system is purpose-built for long-range airborne relay networking. By leveraging an aerial relay platform, it extends and ensures high-speed, accurate, and reliable bidirectional links between UAVs and vehicles as well as dismounted nodes. It primarily enables ultra-long-range data transmission between vehicles and dismounted personnel, effectively mitigating frequent signal interruptions caused by complex environments and obstructions. The coverage radius can be expanded by 3–20×,
