The portable multifunction MESH MANET command-and-dispatch platform features tri-screen dispatch and supports split-screen visualization of emergency dispatch data and situational information. It integrates a 64-bit Windows 10 operating system, an Intel i7 processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage, and is equipped with a 15.6-inch high-brightness HD display. A built-in broadband wireless MANET module enables the unit to operate as a MANET transmission node or as an aggregation node to view each MANET node’s audio/video feeds and geolocation. This allows commanders to make accurate, rapid decisions based on collected information and issue operational tasks, maximizing end-user communications and data transport requirements.

Multiple frequency bands can be customized, with optional expansions such as Wi-Fi, GPS, and 3G/4G to support integrated communications requirements. In remote power maintenance areas, public-network coverage may have blind spots. Maintenance personnel carry an integrated dismounted MANET terminal into the work site, along with communications peripherals such as vital-sign sensors and helmet cameras. The dismounted MANET backhauls the personnel’s video, voice, positioning, and data to the on-site command node. Based on the information returned from field personnel, on-site commanders can make accurate, rapid, and stable decisions during contingencies and dispatch medical responders to the incident location immediately. The on-site command node can interconnect with the backend command center via satellite networks and 4G/5G networks, synchronizing audio/video feeds and sensor data to the backend. This enables bidirectional information exchange between command staff and field maintenance personnel.
